Parry Law Services: Divorce

Family and Matrimonial work is one of the most emotionally charged areas of legal practice..

At Parry Law we endeavour to work closely with our clients offering support in very distressing situations whilst dealing efficiently and sensitively with the legal and emotional aspects of a separation; we endeavour to bring about a conclusion in as painless and stress- free manner as is possible in all the circumstances.

Our expertise includes:

Divorce – bringing the marriage to an end. We can advise and assist on all aspects involved in the issue of a Divorce petition through to the Decree Absolute.

Divorce - the financial aspects. We can resolve issues relating to the division of the assets and continued financial support between parties.

Civil Partnership – the ending of such a partnership is called a “dissolution” rather than a divorce, but many of the same financial consequences apply.

PreNuptial Agreements – Such agreements are becoming more common as individuals attempt to “ring fence” assets that they are introducing upon marriage.

Separation Agreements – If, as a precursor to obtaining a Divorce you seek a separation, we can draw up the necessary agreements to deal with the financial aspects and the care of the children.

Co – habitation Agreements – The Team’s expertise extends to the making of arrangements where parties are not married and extends to ensuring suitable agreements are in place for friends and relatives who may be, for example, sharing a home. Our Team is well versed in the necessary steps to be taken in order to resolve disputes that may arise.

Children – We have a particular interest in resolving disputes and reaching agreements relating to contact, residency and parental responsibility including jurisdictional issues.

Domestic Violence – Our Team can respond rapidly in a situation requiring urgent action by way of the obtaining of injunctions to prevent further acts of violence or intimidation by way of threats to cause physical injury.
