Vicky is a newly qualified Solicitor in our Family Law Department and was welcomed to the firm in 2017. Having grown up on the Kent Coast and attended secondary school in Canterbury, Vicky has extensive ties to the County and knows the local area very well.

Vicky completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in 2012, after graduating with a 2:1 in Law from the University of Southampton in 2005. She trained as a Generalist Advisor at Citizens Advice Bureau and enjoyed a number of business-related roles with Kent County Council, Saga and Canterbury Christ Church University before completing her training contract in Maidstone with a renowned local firm.

Vicky understands that she is often meeting clients at difficult points in their lives and prides herself on providing robust, supportive and comprehensive advice in order to guide her clients through what can otherwise be an overwhelming process. Vicky is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers who are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes, and strives to provide clear, pragmatic and straightforward advice to all her clients, whilst being mindful of the costs involved. Her sensitive and proactive approach to client care puts clients at ease and reassures them that they are receiving a service that is honest, timely and effective.

Outside of the office, Vicky is a governor at a local secondary school and, as a ‘retired’ fitness instructor, can often be found at the gym or jogging through the local towns with friends. Highlights include Liverpool’s Rock ’n’ Roll half marathon and the Great North Run in Newcastle. Vicky enjoys fashion and food and, together with film and theatre, appreciates the distraction of her favourite series on television after a busy day.
