Perveez is head of our Family Law department having joined the firm in 2000 and being made a partner in 2007.
Having graduated from the LSC and City University, Perveez qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and is now a well respected Kent divorce practitioner with over 25 years’ experience. She is sympathetic and understanding to her clients’ needs and can help ease them through what can be a traumatic process with her extensive experience and knowledge of the processes involved.
Perveez is qualified in all aspects of marriage and relationship breakdown. She guides and advises on financial disputes between married and cohabiting couples and also has specialist skills in the complex area of children issues and the emotive and sometimes difficult areas of residence and contact cases which include instances of application by parents to relocate within the U.K. or permanently from the jurisdiction, also has dealt with complex high profile cases in relation to child maintenance that fall outside the jurisdiction of the Child Support Agency/Child Maintenance Service.
Perveez adheres to the Resolution Code of Practice and is committed to providing clear, pragmatic and straightforward advice to all her clients whilst being mindful of the costs involved.
Outside of the office, Perveez is a volunteer Legal Adviser at the Kent Law Clinic and enjoys assisting students in understanding the application of law in practice.
